Do you want to know what is really going on in Wheeling? Is crime up, down or the same? Now is the time to find out!
Crime Watch Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Police Department Training Room located at 1 Community Boulevard. Wheeling, IL 60090
Come learn about new traffic laws and other traffic related issues for the Wheeling Police Department Traffic Unit.
Monthly Training Topics
Crime Watch Meetings are an opportunity for residents and business owners to meet with Wheeling Police Officers in an effort to solve problems collectively. Area crime statistics are reported, citizen concerns are addressed and methods to resolve these issues are discussed. Meetings end with an informational training topic presented. All members of the community are invited to participate in these open meetings. A Sample of Monthly Training Topics are as follows:
