Citizens on Patrol

There's a Citizens Patrol Meeting on the 3rd Monday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Police Department Training Room at 1 Community Boulevard.

Citizens Patrol is a group of volunteer residents that assist the Police Department with various tasks within the Village of Wheeling.

After successful completion of the academy you are eligible to apply to become a Citizens Patrol member. Once accepted, you will then attend an additional training class to learn how to perform your duties and assist the police department as a Citizens Patrol volunteer.
