VILLAGE POLICY ON
CONSTRUCTING A DOG RUN
Definition:
Dog Run - an area enclosed on one or more sides by a
fence with either a concrete, gravel or paved floor,
intended for holding dogs or other animals for any length
of time.
Dog Run Location:
Front Yards - Prohibited.
Rear Yards - Follow rules for fences.
Side Yards - Prohibited except when the side yard is
abutting the neighbor's rear yard and there is more than
25' to the adjoining residence.
A fence permit is required for the construction of a
dog run.
Fees: " Single Family $22.00. " Multi-family
$27.50.
