Employment...Commercial Agriculture and Horticulture.
I've lived in Wheeling...69 years.
I ran for political office to...make
a change for the good of our
community.
My political aspiration is to be...helpful
to the citizens of the community and be business friendly.
Before I was a trustee, I...was
politically involved with the Farm Bureau working on
agricultural and governmental issues.
The most important thing I do as Trustee is...listen
to our citizens, community issues and problems, and then work
on promoting what is best.
I would like people to remember me
for...the heritage we have and the physical work and effort
I am doing to continue it.
The accomplishment I am most proud of is...to
keep agriculture functioning in a Village where it is
nonconforming.
My favorite Village event is...July 4th.
The thing I like best about Wheeling is...the
picturesque history of its past.
My favorite place in Wheeling is...my
home.
When I'm not working, I like to...relax and browse at
agricultural antiques of early America.
My idea of a great day is...to be able to relax and
enjoy the beauties of nature.
Three words that describe me...perseverance, common
sense, accountability.
The one thing few people know about me is....I would
like to keep the Horcher heritage alive in Wheeling.
I wish I had more time to...relax and enjoy life.
People who know me well say I'm...always busy working
on some project or helping someone.
The last good book I read was...The Bible
My vision for the future of Wheeling is... to be a
community where local government is at a minimum in your life.
With more freedom prosperity will come.
My favorite quotation is..."You only get out of life what
you put into it."
My favorite charities are...small organizations and
people in need.
