Overview

 
The Engineering & Capital Projects Division performs civil engineering services for public and private infrastructure improvements within the village. The Division also coordinates with federal, state, and county agencies on funding, infrastructure improvements, and regulations and assists Community Development, Public Works and other departments in their engineering needs.

Responsibilities

The division is responsible for the design, construction/reconstruction and inspection of public infrastructure improvements including:

• Assisting private property owners resolve drainage and grading concerns
• Plan review and construction inspection of private improvements
• Preparation and revisions to municipal regulations for improvements
• Floodplain management
• Mapping and addressing
• Planning, design, and construction management of municipal infrastructure improvements
  • Sanitary and storm sewers
